Simply satisfying! Lard-based cold process soap is a traditional handmade soap that uses lard, which is a rendered fat, as its primary oil. Lard is prized for its creamy texture, mild cleansing properties, and ability to produce a hard, long-lasting bar of soap. It's rich in natural fats that create a stable lather and leave the skin feeling moisturized and nourished.
This type of soap is especially valued for its simplicity and sustainability. Each bar is unique, as part of the handcrafted process and created in small batches. Cold-process soaps generally take 4-6 weeks to cure (harden), as excess water from the process of saponification dissipates, leaving a gentle & creamy cleansing bar.
If you have any questions regarding the ingredients of a specific soap, please don't hesitate to reach out. Each soap will include an inclusive ingredient list. Fragrance oils used are phthalate free.
